For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven…

Romans 1:18

The ministry of Jesus demands we declare the wrath of God. If not, God’s other attributes become insignificant. We would do well to follow the example Jesus set in speaking more about God’s wrath, then about His love. Not a popular homily from the pulpit to be sure, but a necessary one, as we are not spared God’s love in salvation, but we are spared His wrath.
