For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error. Romans 1:26-27 The apostle Paul would emphasize later in this epistle that “no one is righteous, not one” (Roman 3:10-12). Simply put, this statement of Paul’s could not have been put any other way without falling short of the facts, which is necessary in the proclamation of the gospel. Essentially, these verses emphasize the reality of God’s wrath being poured out on those who worship the creature rather than the creator.

For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their reasonings, and their senseless hearts were darkened. Romans 1:21 One of the worst conditions inherited from the fall in the garden, and quite frankly our chief sin, is our constant refusal to worship God for who He is, or even to give thanks. It is a significant case of rebellion. Yet, the Author of all things has addressed our disobedience, and provided a champion for our defense. However, this refuge is not attained by our own merit, or through our own work, but through the divine power of His grace in bearing our sin, and the provision of His cloak of righteousness to wear as our own.

For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, that is, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, being understood by what has been made, so that they are without excuse. Romans 1:20 Paul provides a contradiction between invisible attributes, and have been clearly perceived. However, this conflict is allowed when speaking of what we can perceive through the senses, and what is perceived in the mind. All of nature displays the power and order of the Divine Creator, distinct above all His hands have formed.

Therefore, God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, so that their bodies would be dishonored among them. For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. Romans 1:24-25 Where we consistently fix our thoughts is where our worst features will develop. We are in a perpetual downward spiral, thinking the wisdom of man is the antidote to all works of evil. Rather, it is the destiny of all who worship to become the object worshipped.
- The Doctrine of Final Things
This week we have come to our final episode of season two, where we will take a brief look at a fancy theological term called, eschatology. One of the great advantages Christians have is God has determined the end from the beginning and revealed many of those mysteries through the Holy Scripture. We call this set of biblical truths the Doctrine of Final Things. These truths have a special place in the Christian Worldview, as Christians can filter their encounters in the here and now with a detailed view of the eternity to come. There is much that can be covered concerning this doctrine, but for our purpose today, we will take a clear and simple look at its effect on the everyday Christian. Join us in our final episode as we cover the Doctrine of Final Things... God Bless.

Claiming to be wise, they became fools, and they exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible mankind, of birds, four-footed animals, and crawling creatures. Romans 1:22-23 Once again, we see Paul illustrate our chief sin, we refuse to worship God as God. On top of that, we double down on our refusal, by replacing Him with something else. We no longer magnify the treasures of His grace and mercy, but magnify our own accomplishments, and glorify ourselves. We marvel in this exchange, and the re-making of God in our own image, because it feels good, and sounds good, but the exchange is useless, a bar of gold for a lump of coal. I encourage you strongly, do not replace God with something else, for the wisdom of man lacks all sense to Him.
- The Doctrine of Salvation
In this week’s episode, we are going to take a look at the pinnacle of God’s plan in creation, through the work of Christ Jesus. This biblical truth tackles the most critical need of mankind, atonement for sin. Simply put, this work of Christ Jesus is applied to those chosen by God, commonly known as the Doctrine of Salvation. Join us in this journey through the uniqueness of the Christian worldview as we find eternal life through none other than the Holy Son of God, Jesus Christ. God bless.

- The Doctrine of the Holy Spirit
One of the most significant effects Christians experience in their faith is the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. This effect is revealed and experienced in many ways by the believer. From subtle leanings to the cause of Christ with increased joy and humility. To an irresistible pull in teaching and ministering to other believers, even evangelizing to the lost. No matter how the effect is displayed in thought and indeed, there is little room for doubt among those who believe of the personal presence of God. Please join us in Episode 7 of Season 2 as we take a brief journey through the Bible concerning the third Person of the One true God; The Doctrine of the Holy Spirit. “Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” Acts 2:38

- The Doctrine of Jesus
Christianity is not about four walls and a roof, nor is it about the governing ordinances of a church, or ritual, or ceremony, or membership of a denomination. Christianity is not about being inclusive, or universal, or even tolerant. And Christianity is definitely not about having your best life now. In Episode 6 of Season 2 we will discover what Christianity is about -- an amazing Person, where both the fullness of deity and man reside, and in His ministry rests the good news from God. This Person is the Holy Son of God, the Christ Jesus, and belief in Him is the doctrine Christians hold most dear. What was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we have looked at and touched with our hands, concerning the Word of Life— and the life was manifested, and we have seen and testify and proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and was manifested to us— what we have seen and heard we proclaim to you also, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ. These things we write, so that our joy may be made complete. 1 John 1:1-4
