Paul, a bond-servant of Christ Jesus, called as an apostle, set apart for the gospel of God Romans 1:1 Discipleship in Christ is affirmed by the calling from none other than God. We are obliged to respond, even with silence. If the answer is yes, then we will follow Him, and He will change us, to carry out His will in ways we never thought were possible.

Paul, a bond-servant of Christ Jesus, called as an apostle, set apart for the gospel of God Romans 1:1 The sole purpose of Christian Discipleship is to advance the cause of Christ, to pronounce the gospel in both word and deed. The gospel is good news about good things coming exclusively from God. Not coming partially from God, but specifically from Him, in the fullness of purpose. This is good news no one can alter, neither adding too, nor taking away one word of its composition. The gospel is timeless, and applicable to all who will believe, about the life, death, resurrection and ascension of the Holy Son of God.
- God is Love
No simple overview of God’s attributes, as revealed in scripture, would be complete without some basic knowledge of the love of God. The Apostle John expressed this attribute of God as a noun in 1 John 4 stating, “God is love.” The Apostle also provided an illustration of God’s love in action, in one of the most well-known verses in all of scripture, John 3:16. In this verse, John expresses God’s love as a verb; “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life.” As we continue to explore many of the doctrines revealed by God in the Bible. Doctrines such as: Salvation, Atonement, Justification, etc., we quickly realize, a significantly new relationship with God develops, and within that relationship, a new connection with His Love. In Episode 5 of Knowing God we will dive deeper into the Love of God and how this attribute is exclusive to only Him. As a result, any ability mankind may develop to love as God loves, is a result of Him having first given it. God Bless, Pastor Will

Paul, a bond-servant of Christ Jesus, called as an apostle, set apart for the gospel of God Romans 1:1 Our sin, is nothing short of an affront to a holy, and merciful God. In our conviction, we cast ourselves at the foot of the cross, with all hope in the blood of the Son, and in recognition of the emptiness of all previous desire. The apostle Paul had such a conversion walking the road to Damascus (Acts 9:1-19), and as a result, surrendered himself to the will of Christ. Oh, that all conversions today would mirror this commitment, positioning Jesus in the place once occupied by ourselves.
- GOD'S CHARACTER...
What is the Grace and Mercy of God? Are there differences between the two? What does God do with them? All standard questions, even among believers. This weeks episode will focus on answering those questions and a few others as revealed in the Holy Scripture, with the intent of building our perspective of God on solid ground. There is little doubt, even from a cursory reading, the Bible is saturated with the Grace and Mercy of God, as key attributes defining His character, each flowing freely from His Holiness. Grace and Mercy; one focuses on giving, while the other on withholding, both are voluntary and without restriction. While these attributes of God are utilized differently, they are both essential and inseparable in salvation. There is no greater example given of the grace and mercy of God, than through the atoning work of Christ. BRANDOFMAN; Season 1 – Episode 4 encourages us all to renew our minds in the knowledge of God, and reclaim a worldview for the cause of Christ. We will commit to knowing what we believe, and why we believe it, and to better know God as He has revealed Himself to the world. God Bless, Pastor Will

“But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. Luke 1:30 The most repeated principle in all of scripture emphasizes how God expects us to reflect our relationship with Him; one full of joy, and without fear. Even when God’s favor seems distant, He is always available to those who seek Him according to His will.

“In everything, therefore, treat people the same way you want them to treat you, for this is the Law and the Prophets. Matthew 7:12 I may be dating myself, but this is the legendary “Golden Rule.” I would argue, that this is one of, if not thee, single most important statement ever made by Jesus, while simultaneously, one in which all Christians fail to adhere. Jesus emphasized our obedience to God in the positive with “thou shalt,” in contrast to “thou shalt not.”
- HIS HOLINESS
When we describe someone to another person, we typically highlight qualities of the person we are describing. We might use terms such as practical, cheerful, or focused. We refer to these qualities as attributes, as they describe distinct features, or traits. By divine inspiration, God has revealed attributes of Himself in scripture. As God can never be fully understood, He can however be known. Knowing God in the proper biblical context is similar to the parable from Jesus in Matthew 7, of the man whose house withstood many calamities because he had built it on a solid foundation. If we were to pick a single attribute of God, which formed the center of His character, and an attribute from which all other attributes would flow, we could find no better revelation than His Holiness. The Holiness of God declares His complete and absolute purity and separateness from all of creation. The reality of which is illustrated best in scripture through those who have been exposed to its perfection. There has never been a more urgent time to return to scripture, and build our faith on solid ground, as scripture alone is sufficient for anyone to lead a life pleasing to God. BRANDOFMAN; Season 1 – Episode 3 encourages us all to renew our minds in the knowledge of God, and reclaim a worldview for the cause of Christ. We will commit to knowing what we believe, and why we believe it, and to better know God as He has revealed Himself to the world. God bless, Pastor Will
- THE INFINITY OF GOD
Have you ever thought about infinity – something without limits of any kind? It is not unusual to do so, as humans commonly associate infinity with time. However, what enters our minds when we view infinity outside of time? What are the implications of infinity in space, in knowledge, and in power? Additionally, what happens to our perspective of God, when we view Him, and His attributes from the perspective of infinity? The Holy Scripture enjoys the continual revelation of God. His ever present and active involvement in creation, as well as His transcendence – existence beyond all limits. Join us as we delve deeper into the nature of God, illuminating His Holy principles, and building a stronger, and more personal relationship with Him through His infinite nature. God is infinite in Time. A Being not limited by time in any way. God is infinite in Being. A Being limitless in all that accounts for what He is. God is infinite in Space. A Being beyond limitless; One who cannot be limited or even attached to space in any way. This world has become challenged by a corrupted view of God – A non-biblical view of a God from our own making, and one who we are much more comfortable worshiping, should we choose to worship one at all. In his book, “The Knowledge of the Holy,” A.W. Tozer emphasized, the demise of mankind was grown and cultivated from a low view of God. This is a fundamental truth brought forth from the apostle Paul in his letter to the Romans; For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their reasonings, and their senseless hearts were darkened. Romans 1:21 This truth is equally present today, as I know of no problem too hardened in the world of men to overcome, only too many hardened men in the world to overcome it. BRANDOFMAN; Season 1 – Episode 2 encourages us all to renew our minds in the knowledge of God, and reclaim a worldview for the cause of Christ. We will commit to knowing what we believe, and why we believe it, and to better know God as He has revealed Himself to the world. God bless, Pastor Will
- KNOWING GOD...
I am fully convinced that context is king in terms of forming principles and ideas. With that in mind, establishing proper context is of the utmost concern in the study of biblical principles, especially those foundational to the nature of God. Principles by their nature are foundational, serving to form a basic truth in support of a particular belief or act of reason. The bible reveals many of the principles necessary to attain knowledge of God’s being – His character, His attributes, His will, and the direction for His creation – exclusively because God chose to reveal them. Join us as we take a closer look at the principles God has revealed to us concerning His nature – His presence and His preeminence. His presence, as He is active and attending to His creation in all places at the same time. His preeminence, being apart from all human experience and not subjected to any of its constraints or human understanding. It is from these principles of presence and preeminence that all other characteristics of God flow… including those yet to be revealed by Him. Therefore, our knowledge of God – in the proper context – is significant in forming a worldview. Who are we? What is our purpose? What is the conclusion? Much of what plagues this world – the unrest, the violence, the subjection, the persecution, the search for purpose – are all rooted in mankind’s loss of awareness for the majesty of God. BRANDOFMAN; Season 1 – Episode 1 aims to rediscover our spirit of worship and the recovery of our soul as the inner meeting place of God. We will strive toward a most high view of God, placing Him above all things in direct relation to His nature, and in communion with our desire to find peace in Him. “The low view of God entertained almost universally among Christians is the cause of a hundred lesser evils everywhere among us.” A.W. Tozer “The Knowledge of the Holy.”
- BRANDOFMAN, Season 1...
Essentially, season one follows the wisdom of Jesus, found in His parable of two builders from the gospel of Luke. The parable compares and contrasts two builders, one who built a house on a solid foundation, while the other built a house on the ground, without a foundation. After both houses had been completed, a flood came from a rising river. The house that had been built on a solid foundation easily withstood the destructive force of the water, while the house built without a foundation immediately collapsed. Jesus added, “and the ruin of that house was great” (Luke 6:49 NASB). Christians today, are bombarded with various doctrine in the cause of Christ. Doctrine are principles that outline Christian beliefs, and act as a guide to Christian living. These doctrines include, the doctrine of creation, the doctrine of sin, the doctrine of salvation, the doctrine of man, just to mention a few. However, to grasp these concepts, believers must know the doctrine outlined in scripture that serves as the foundation for all doctrine that follows. I am speaking of the doctrine of God. If we do not build on the solid foundation of who God has revealed Himself to be in scripture, when difficulty comes, and it will, our house will collapse. Season one is focused on a systematic approach to knowing God in the simplest of terms, in accordance with how He has revealed Himself in scripture. The topics will not be exhaustive, but it will provide a solid foundation from which to build. It is imperative, believers not only know what they believe, but also know why they believe it, and knowing God is the beginning of that journey. “So then, you will know them by their fruits.” Matthew 7:16,20 This statement from Jesus brackets a simple illustration He utilizes to impart a moral lesson. Jesus presents, “You can identify a specific tree by the fruit it bears. Apple tree’s produce apples, fig trees, figs, and so on” (Matt. 7:15-20). This surrounding text provides the subject for His statement, “So then, you will know them by their fruits.” Specifically, there are those who claim to be of one type, but they are another type altogether. This simple principle is explicit in the fate of man, and considered for self-reflection, as our internal convictions become apparent for all to see.
