“So then, you will know them by their fruits.” Matthew 7:16,20 This statement from Jesus brackets a simple illustration He utilizes to impart a moral lesson. Jesus presents, “You can identify a specific tree by the fruit it bears. Apple tree’s produce apples, fig trees, figs, and so on” (Matt. 7:15-20). This surrounding text provides the subject for His statement, “So then, you will know them by their fruits.” Specifically, there are those who claim to be of one type, but they are another type altogether. This simple principle is explicit in the fate of man, and considered for self-reflection, as our internal convictions become apparent for all to see.

Before entering into seminary study, I was deeply inspired by a well-known quote from A.W. Tozer’s work, The Knowledge of the Holy. In his opening to chapter one, Tozer said, “What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us.” He would go on to articulate this one principle profoundly influences our entire view of the world, and consequently, every thought we have, and every action we take. The implications of this principle run deep into the heart of mankind, and should leave no stone unturned in our quest for truth. As a result, I was inspired to create Brand Of Man Ministry, where we are committed to a revival of the biblical perspective of God, as revealed through the full inerrancy of Holy Scripture. We believe there is only one God (Is 44:6), one Sacrifice (Eph. 1:7), and one Faith (Eph. 2:8), in the will of God. A majority of people in the world believe in God. However, exercising this belief is where the greatest contrasts occur. We are committed to bringing forward biblical truths on knowing God in His nature and by His attributes. In this context we will present the truths of scripture in the simplest of terms, inspiring unity through the indwelling of the Spirit, and through His empowering of believers to have eyes that see, and ears that hear. “The one who is not with Me is against Me; and the one who does not gather with Me scatters.” Matthew 12:30 Jesus was not known for “pulling punches”, to utilize a boxing metaphor. This is especially true in matters concerning His divinity, and His purpose. Jesus is not speaking specifically of Himself in the flesh, (as indicated in v. 31) but His work through the Holy Spirit; the gospel of God. In this inescapable conflict, one presented to every person, there is no neutral ground. Specifically, there is no option for neutral ground, as no place for indifference exists.
